About the Role
We are looking for an experienced Part Time Bookkeeper to join our team for 2 days per week: Wednesday and Friday (on a permanent part time basis).  Â
The role is pivotal in supporting us with general bookkeeping services in house. You will work across payroll, accounts payable / receivable. This role would suit an experienced Bookkeeper seeking a new part time challenge, who is eager to work within a forward-thinking environment where flexibility and culture are valued highly.Â

About You
Key Responsibilities:
Accounts payable, including scheduling and management of payments.
Account receivable, including raising and following up invoices.
Processing weekly staff payrollÂ
Managing staff expensesÂ
Payroll tax management, reconciliation, and reporting
Accounts reconciliationÂ
Co-ordination and Communication with company accountants and other vendors such as insurance providers
Financial reporting as needed
Essential Skills:
Relevant Tertiary qualification (Accounting, Business, or other relevant discipline)Â
5+ years’ experience in a similar accounting roleÂ
Experience with XERO
Solid commercial acumen with the ability to create and review basic commercial documentationÂ
Strong experience with office technology with skills in Microsoft Office applications such as ExcelÂ
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Advanced organisational skillsÂ
A motivated individual, and a self-starterÂ
Flexible attitudeÂ
The ability to work unsupervised.
Experience working in a fast-paced collaborative environment
Exposure to professional services or technology industries would be advantageousÂ
