We are seeking an experienced Senior Technical Business Analyst to join our team and play a pivotal role in driving client success through clarity and embedded quality to ensure the right outcomes are achieved. You’ll work closely with clients to uncover & clarify their needs and help design fit-for-purpose solutions, combining your Business Analyst expertise with hands-on validation & testing capability to ensure every solution we deliver is robust, intuitive, and impactful.

About You
Key Responsibilities:
This role blends advanced Business Analysis and Quality Assurance with potentially some hands-on platform implementation. The Senior Technical Business Analyst works autonomously across discovery and testing, ensuring new platform deliveries and software changes are well-defined, correctly implemented, thoroughly tested, and production ready.
Engages with Stakeholders to empathise with pain points & understand client drivers. Leads technical discovery workshops with clients and prospects to identify and understand their business, technical and functional requirements, together with the Solutions Architect
Translates business outcomes & needs into high quality requirements with clear, testable acceptance criteria and measurable definitions of success.
Anticipates downstream impacts (process, data, integrations, support) and addresses them early.
Validates business & functional requirements against proposed technology solutions to ensure recommendations will meet requirements & wholistic client needs.
Reviews & provides input into Design and Implementation to support the Team Lead.
Produces high-quality documentation and SOPs.
Diligently tracks changes to business requirements, scope changes, refinements to user stories and changes to acceptance criteria, ensuring full traceability.
Identifies, documents and helps manage risks and issues related to requirements, scope and business outcomes.
Acts as a Quality advocate within the Team, ensuring testing is built into all appropriate activities and leads continual improvement of the QA processes.
Defines and maintains test plans which are aligned to stories, acceptance criteria, and platform/software delivery risks.
Creates and reviews:
Test scenarios and cases
UAT scripts and guidance for business users
Supports or executes testing where required to ensure implementation delivers against client's business need & requirements e.g.: configuration changes, system integrations and UAT.
Contributes to operational readiness artefacts (handover notes, known issues, configuration references).
Leads defect triage discussions, balancing quality, scope, and delivery timelines.
Provides early release support and incident triage post release, assisting with root cause analysis and fix validation.
Engages in Agile ceremonies:
Backlog refinement
Sprint planning
Standups
Reviews and retrospectives
Builds trusted client relationships through technical thought leadership and expert advice.
Identifies upsell opportunities to drive additional value for clients.
You hold or are willing to obtain Microsoft Certifications in Power Platform, Azure AI & Data, and Dynamics 365.
Essential Skills:
5+ years of experience in Business Analysis and/or Quality Assurance Testing.
Experience in Sprint Management tools such as DevOps and/or Jira.
Ability to understand & explain technical aspects of project delivery (e.g. Integrations with API to assist the team with design.)
Solid foundation in QA practices, including manual and/or automated testing, test planning, defect tracking and use of QA tools and frameworks.
Proven ability to produce high-quality documentation for various audiences.
A strong growth mindset and a passion for continuous learning, especially in AI and emerging technologies.
Pragmatic problem-solving skills across industries and budgets.
Excellent communication skills with both clients and technical team members at all levels.
High attention to detail, strong self-management, and a commitment to pragmatic quality delivery.

A key contributor in advancing the Delivery Team, driving outstanding results.
Experience in the following areas is highly desirable but not essential:
Recognised BA Certification (CBAP – Certified Business Analysis Professional / PMI-PBA – PMI Professional in Business Analysis)/ AgileBA
ISTQB or other QA certifications
Experience in Power Platform, Azure AI & Data, and Dynamics 365
