The role provides you with the opportunity to help our business scale through the creation of new business opportunities. Your role is instrumental in further building Solentive’s reputation as a technology leader and driving revenue through the acquisition of new business.  

This role would suit an experienced Sales professional who is looking for a fresh challenge, backs their ability to deliver and who is passionate about contributing. This role provides you will suit an energetic person, with an existing network and who has a proven track record of delivering results. Key Responsibilities:

  • Grow Solentive’s Pipeline through networking, prospecting, and lead generation activities.

  • Execution of a Go-To-Market strategy and New Business Sales plan  

  • Work closely with our Pre Sales and Consulting team to propose innovative and pragmatic technology solutions, digital transformation advice and consulting that achieves outcomes for our clients. 

  • Exceed revenue targets through client acquisition activities including strong sales management and deal closure.

  • Improve Solentive’s New Business Acquisition processes through best practice methodologies and tactics.

About You

  • Relevant Tertiary qualification (Commerce, IT, or relevant Business discipline).

  • 5+ years of professional experience in within an IT Consulting related Sales role.

  • Experience in IT Services and Product Sales (Solution selling).

  • Existing Network in Australia (Enterprise level preferred).

  • History of successful execution.

  • Knowledge of Sales best practice frameworks and how to best apply these in a solution selling role. 

  • A track record of accurately forecasting and meeting sales targets. 

  • Ability to build and expand a network through connections, outreach, and networking. 

  • Experience in building & maintaining meaningful long term CXO relationships and influence decisions. 

  • A growth mindset, and motivation to help clients succeed. 

  • Negotiation experience and the ability to handle client objections with a view to close sales.

  • Experience delivering results in collaborative and fast paced environment.

  • A highly motivated individual and a self-starter.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • Advanced organisational skills.

  • Superior time management skills and the ability to manage competing priorities.

  • CRM Management.
