About You

  • Tertiary degree in Information Technology or Computer Science

  • Industry standard architecture certifications, either:

  • Microsoft Certified Azure Solutions Architect Expert, or

  • AWS Certified Solutions Architect Associate

  • Background with hands-on experience in .NET software engineering, PaaS (Azure or AWS), SaaS, and integrations

  • 5+ years of hands-on technical role such as a Software Engineer or Technical Consultant.

  • 3+ years of client-facing or Consulting experience

  • Ability to understand a client’s technology requirements and recommend a product suite that is fit-for-purpose

  • Ability to think creatively and devise pragmatic, innovative technology solutions to clients across a range of industries and budgets

  • Ability to provide accurate estimation of solutions

  • An excellent communicator with both clients and technical team members at all levels

  • A desire to collaborate across the business, working with the Sales team to help achieve strategic outcomes

  • Attention to detail and ability to self-manage to deliver against clients’ expectations, set timeframes and budgets

  • Drive quality in every aspect of your work, setting the standard for others

  • Passionate for achieving outcomes for clients

  • Ability to energise clients with your enthusiasm, drive, and innovative thinking

  • Develop high-quality documentation including polished diagrams and prose, for a variety of audiences and purposes

  • Engage with businesspeople to understand the commercial strategy and objectives that drive technology strategy

  • Engage with technical staff to understand technical requirements and objectives that contribute to the technology strategy

  • Based on each clients’ technology strategy, create innovative, fit-for-purpose architectures that may leverage combinations of commercial off-the-shelf (COTS) products, legacy systems, custom software and data platforms

  • Excite clients’ businesspeople and technical staff through the communication of ideas, options and potential solutions

  • Collaborate with the Sales team to put forward estimates and progress sales to potential and existing clients

  • Build strong, trusting relationships with clients at all levels through confident, clear and concise communication

  • Manage communications and delivery of your consulting services

  • Provide architectural oversight and technical design advice to Technical Consultants implementing COTS & integrations, and to the Software Engineering teams implementing custom software

  • Strengthen your technical expertise and credibility in technical design by participating in some hands-on implementation of a variety of technologies including cloud platform PaaS (eg Azure, AWS), SaaS products (eg decision platforms, process automation, CRM, etc), and custom software

  • Continue to evolve Solentive’s service offerings in response to market needs and technology trends
