Established by Kareem Tawansi in 1993, the Solentive Technology Group is a collection of businesses that focus on solving business challenges by applying imagination and creativity in software technology.

Operating in Australia with offices in Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane, Solentive Technology Group employs 35 full time employees comprising of software engineers, business analysts, project managers and consultants in addition to finance, sales and marketing staff.

Launched Solentive's first cloud-based product
ExactDocs - a document generation and automation system hosted in the cloud.

2011

Developed a mobile application utilised in Optus mobile handsets.

Implemented SharePoint 2010 for Eurofin Technologies who realised a 20% increase in both efficiency and profitability through the implementation of SharePoint.

Developed Clipspec for Clipsal - a design tool that allows consultants to display specifications and fittings of Clipsal electrical products on architectural plans. Using Microsoft's WPF technology, the application provides the ability to drag and drop electricial fittings into a 3D plan, print the Bill of Materials and send to supplier.

InRule announces Solentive as the exclusive distributor of their world leading .NET Business Rules Management System in Asia Pacific. Solentive has since provided the InRule Business Rules Management System to leading organisations including TAL, Bank of Queensland and Leica Biosystems.

2006

Developed application using a linguistics engine for an Australian government department to identify websites promoting illegal tax schemes.

First onsite team of developers commenced work for ninemsn, working on the mobile versions of Ralph and Dolly magazines as well as a custom Content Management System (CMS).

2002

Built world-first secure digital connection between record companies and radio stations, helping record companies distribute latest music to stations electronically without the need to send CDs.

Developed flight safety system for one of Australia’s leading airlines to track incidents involving their aircraft fleet, including bird strikes, emergency landings and other serious incidents.

1998

Joint venture between RACV and NRMA. Developed the first of its kind car tracking and control system which allowed people in the service centre to remotely service cars.

Developed prototype for digitised shopping catalogue for Marks & Spencer (largest retailer in the UK at the time).

Kareem Tawansi – CEO

Founder and CEO of Solentive Technology Group, Kareem Tawansi has over 24 years' business and IT experience spanning various industries. A qualified software engineer, he has majors in Computer Science and Psychology. Kareem is actively involved in researching innovative technologies that improve business efficiency, such as cloud computing and mobility.

Marcus Webb – Commercial Director

Marcus Webb has over 14 years’ of management experience across various industries. A qualified CPA, Marcus has a Bachelor of Business majoring in Accounting and eCommerce. His areas of interests include new technologies, enterprise innovation and knowledge capture, as well as techniques to help companies achieve strategic and operational improvements.

Brett Raven – Principal Business Solutions Consultant

Brett Raven has over 20 years’ experience in software development. With extensive business expertise and a software engineering background, Brett’s areas of interests cover Business Rules Management, Business Rules Engines and associated decision management technologies.

Craig Moore – Software Delivery Manager

With a software engineering and infrastructure support background, Craig Moore has more than 13 years’ experience in software and IT. This includes extensive expertise and knowledge in project management. His areas of interest include database, mobile computing, hardware integration and robotics/electronics.

Keith O'Donoghue – Quality Assurance Manager

Keith O’Donoghue has six years’ experience as a Quality Assurance Manager and 10 years’ experience in the IT industry. With a Bachelor of Science and Information Systems and having tested comprehensive enterprise systems, Keith is passionate about ensuring quality software is consistently delivered.

Marija Choumar – Sales and Marketing Manager

Marija Choumar has 10 years’ experience marketing software solutions to diverse industries and organisations. This experience extends to both large and small enterprises. With a Bachelor of Business majoring in Marketing, her areas of interest include online and mobile marketing.
